Explore the Bali you have never seen before while experiencing botanical tuition by one of Australia’s leading botanical artists and international tutor, Leonie Norton. We will stay in Udayana Kingfisher Eco Lodge which is situated in 30 hectares of beautiful gardens and bushland. It overlooks Mt. Agung, Jimbaran and Benoa bays in a quiet environment which is convenient to southern Bali’s attractions.

The gardens are abundant with many varieties of flowers and plants from which to choose a painting subject. There are also numerous beautiful butterflys, dragonflys and unique bird species.

The Botanical Art Workshop: There are six mornings devoted to botanical art where you will experience individual tuition and group demonstrations. The large workshop area is spacious and has wonderful light for painting. It is also available for optional painting of an afternoon.

The topics will cover composition, tone, highlights, shadows and colour as well as drawing and specialised painting techniques. Learn to create a three-dimensional illusion and the methods of finishing touches to bring the painting to life.
